Baseball 2011:

There are two teams/groups for Baseball this season, and unfortunately we have no Little League players this year in Cornwall!! Stephen & Susan Saccardi are coaching & managing the 3rd-4th grade Co-Ed "Minor League" team, with the assistance of Brian Mollica. If you see them out on Foote Field playing a game, they will be wearing dark blue Mariners uniforms, and they should look quite official! There are thirteen players registered for that team, and they play games on Saturday mornings, versus Kent, Lakeville Blue, Lakeville Red & Sharon.

Practices are Mondays from 5:00 to 6:00 (which are a scrimmage including the 2nd grade players), Thursdays from 5:00 to 6:00 with Stephen Saccardi, and Fridays from 5:00 to 6:00 with Brian Mollica -- all practices are at Foote Field. GAMES are Saturday mornings, usually at 10:00, either at Foote Field or "away" in another town.

The Kindergarten - 2nd grade Co-Ed Baseball group meets on Saturday mornings at the Cornwall Consolidated School field, from 9:00 to 10:00. Erin Hedden is the fearless leader for this young group of players, with Ken Considine assisting. There are eighteen players registered for this "team" and they will only practice -- no games against other towns at this age.
